GameCenter CX Season 4 Full Episode Guide
Arino takes on Nintendo's classic Palutena no Kagami, better known in the west as Kid Icarus.
In this episode, Arino returns to another classic NES game. This time it’s the fan-favorite Tecmo game Ninja Gaiden. With a victory here, he can bring his record for the season to a tie, but the Ninja Gaiden series is considered one of the hardest game series ever made. After some time Arino comes to the realization that it may be the hardest game he's ever played in his life...
When we last left Arino, he had just beaten Bowser for the second time but still needed at least 30 more stars before attempting the final battle. With night now fallen, Arino retired for the day. The legendary struggle between man and turtle will now come to a definite end.
Arino takes on his first Nintendo 64 game, Super Mario 64.
After four devastating defeats, Arino is demoted to "Shunin" or "Senior Staff". Arino is given one last chance for promotion, if he can clear "Tonosama no Yabou" his position as Kacho will be reinstated... but Tonosama no Yabou is a game that Arino hasn't played before, a quiz game! Arino isn't alone though, his old friend AP Toujima, The Ace AD Urukawa, and even cameraman Abe will come to his aid and combine their knowledge to help Arino.
After three consecutive losses, Arino is told that if he loses one more time, he'll lose the title of Kacho and be demoted.
With two losses in a row under his belt, Arino is convinced he lost because those two games were 16-bit games. What he doesn't realize though, is that his next challenge Adventure Island, is quite possibly one of the hardest games ever made.
