Doki Doki Panic (released in the west as Super Mario Brothers 2) is a welcome return to platforming for Arino, but proves to pack more of a punch than he is prepared for. Can our intrepid hero pull through and defeat the evil Frog King Wart? Fan support continues to pour in during Arino's journey through Super Monkey Adventures in the Ring Ring Tactics segment.
In the segment 'Ring Ring Tactics', Arino's progress in Super Monkey Adventures grinds to a halt, so he takes to the phones for support from the fans. His challenge is to conquer the licensed RPG game Famicom Jump, based on the famed japanese comics.
To the shock of the staff of Game Center CX, Arino announced that he's getting married. Expecting to play Famicom Jump. AD Urakawa interrupts him and instead hands him the dating simulator Tokimeki Memorial, suggesting that the love adventure may help Arino teach young men a thing or two about real-life romancing techniques.
Arino challenges this unique sports game based off the Japanese game show Fuuun! Takeshi Jou (Takeshi's Castle) using a Family Trainer Mat. The player must compete in all of the show’s trademark events before reaching the end, where they face off against Beat Takeshi himself.
Season 3 opens with Arino being officially "promoted" to Kacho Dairi (Deputy Section Chief). The first challenge of the season is Hudson’s Kato-chan & Ken-chan, for the PC-Engine. A quirky platformer starring a Japanese comedy duo, the game was localized overseas as JJ & Jeff.
