A swedish family gets killed while on holiday on the sunny coast of Spain. Annika Bengtzon travels to Spain, to report about the case, and discovers that the oldest daughter is missing. Annika discovers a connection to a drug-route between Marocco and Sweden.

Annika Bengtzon get the assignment to watch and write about the murder, when she finds out that one of her best friends was in the castle on the night of the murder, and that she is the main suspect. Bengtzon now has to solve the mystery, and rid her friend of the accusation.
