Episode 10 - Orange, TX
First Aired: May. 29,2014

Chet heads to Orange to explore the swamps and waterways of this town on the Louisiana border. He visits the amazing Stark House and Stark Museum, then explores nature at Shangri-La Botanical Garden and with an airboat ride through the bayou looking for alligators. To eat, Chet visits the Old Orange Cafe, a modern cafe in an old dairy building and then at Robert’s Steakhouse.

Episode 9 - Mason, TX
First Aired: May. 22,2014

Chet heads to Mason: the “Gem of the Hill Country.” As the only place in Texas to find topaz, the state gem, Chet learns about it from some local experts, sees the largest topaz in North America, and then goes hunting for his own treasure. He explores the interesting history of town, including the namesake Fort Mason, the HooDoo Wars and more.

Episode 8 - Lufkin, TX
First Aired: May. 15,2014

Chet heads to Lufkin to explore the Texas Piney Woods and one of Texas's four National Forests. He paddles the Neches River, hikes beneath the towering pines, and visits the Texas Forestry Museum to learn the history of the people who lived here.

Episode 7 - Abilene, TX
First Aired: May. 08,2014

Chet heads to Abilene to explore the history of the wild Texas frontier. He visits the world-class museum “Frontier, TX,” Fort Phantom Hill and the Buffalo Gap Historic Village. Chet eats along the way at Vleta’s candy, making peanut brittle in Abilene for 100 years, Abi-Haus for a local, scratch made lunch, and then Perini Ranch Steakhouse for a prime rib dinner.

Episode 6 - Arlington, TX
First Aired: April. 01,2014

A visit to Arlington, Texas, stops in the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium; the International Bowling Hall of Fame; River Legacy Park; J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill; and Mariano's Mexican Restaurant, which is the birthplace of the frozen margarita machine. Also: a Texas Rangers game.

Episode 5 - Spooky, TX
First Aired: October. 30,2013

Spooky destinations are spotlighted, including the Grove in Jefferson; Presidio La Bahia in Goliad; and San Antonio's "ghost tracks."

Episode 4 - Houston, TX
First Aired: October. 23,2013

Chet travels to the "Bayou City" to hop amongst its neighborhoods. He starts with an Asian market and dim sum in Houston's Chinatown, follows it up with dinosaurs and parks in the Museum District, and finishes up in Houston's Montrose area, full of art, culture, and delicious food.

Chet heads to San Marcos to explore its river by boat, kayak, and tube, with stops at Paper Bear, Rhea’s Ice Cream, Texas State University, and much more.
