Eiji (Kobayashi Keiju), who was a qualified lawyer but turned actor and is now a management consultant, has run away from his second wife and is no longer trusted by his son Ken (Koichi Sato). One day, his son Ken was arrested on suspicion of killing his friend. Eiji, a former lawyer, attempts to defend him, but is forced into a corner after a series of failures.
