After they break up, Joseph throws Courtney out of his house, and the rest of the gang, including Avery and Lyndale, has never trusted her since. Courtney has apologized to Avery and pleaded with him to give her a second opportunity so that she and Avery may try their relationship again, but Avery has refused.
