The competitors must follow the Ben & Jerry's mission to be creative, have fun and make great products. The best flavor wins its maker $20,000 and a featured spot in a Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop or event in the winner's hometown.

They begin at the end, as host Molly Yeh tasks them with resurrecting flavors from the infamous Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard. Actor and musician Kevin Bacon challenges the competitors to make a flavor in his name that incorporates up to six different ingredients.
