Davy plans just to tell him he can,t find the location, but his plan is derailed when Davy has to save an Indian boy from a wolf.

An ageing Davy Crockett visits his old friend Andrew Jackson, who's now the US president, while on his way to the Alamo. They reminisce about old times, and that flashback begins the adventure. It's all quite good fun despite the fact that, as you would expect from a Disney picture, it's a bit sanitised and the `backwoods' dialogue is sometimes hard to take.
