Death Valley Days is an American radio and television anthology series featuring true stories of the old American West, particularly the Death Valley area. Created in 1930 by Ruth Woodman, the program was broadcast on radio until 1945 and continued from 1952 to 1970 as a syndicated television series, with reruns continuing through August 1, 1975. The series was sponsored by the Pacific Coast Borax Company and hosted by Stanley Andrews, Ronald Reagan, Robert Taylor, and Dale Robertson. With the passing of Dale Robertson in 2013, all the former Death Valley Days hosts are now deceased.

Episode 11 - Graydon's Charge
First Aired: January. 05,1964

Partners "Skinner Graydon" (Ken Curtis) and "Ortho William"s (Denver Pyle) in a mule team freighting business try to win the affections of a widow "Maimie Scully" (Cathy Lewis), who owns Scully's Boarding house. They get their chance as a Union Army Major (Lyle Bettger) tells them about a renegade Confederate camp in New Mexico which he intends to attack. Skinner and Ortho offer their services to Major Roberts in an unorthodox manner.

Episode 3 - A Kingdom for a Horse
First Aired: October. 01,1963

The Emperor of Brazil is traveling by train to San Francisco. As his private train stops to take on water, he gets off to stretch his legs and the train leaves without him. Stranded alone in the countryside, he comes a upon a farm run by a widow living alone with her son and daughter. They do not believe he is truly an Emperor, so they lock him up until the sheriff comes to arrest him.
