Brum is a British children's superhero rescue television series about the adventures of a radio controlled car of the same name. It was produced by Ragdoll Productions for HIT Entertainment and first broadcast in 1991. It was initially directed, written and produced by Anne Wood, latterly directed and written by Vic Finch, Paul Leather, Emma Lindley, Morgan Hall, Brian Simmons, Nigel P Harris and others. It was initially narrated by Toyah Willcox and later by Tom Wright. The show was first aired on Children's BBC on BBC One and also aired in the United States on Discovery Kids as part of the Ready Set Learn kids block on the channel that lasted from 1996 to 2010. The show has also aired on ABC, ABC1 and ABC2 in Australia.

Mr Brillo is happily riding in a rickshaw as part of the Big Town parade. Yet the rickety rickshaw rolls away, and after a series of scrapes teeters perilously over the edge of a high building. Brum saves the day by pulling the rickshaw and Mr Brillo to safety.

When Bubble and Squeak steal a safe containing Mrs Posh's jewels and drop it into the river, Brum saves the day by diving in and retrieving the gems.

When a girl loses her pet mouse it scurries through the Big Town and disappears into the Big Town Dance Hall. Brum saves the day by skilfully guiding the mouse back to its owner.

When Mr Brillo's new garden gnome ends up stuck at the top of the Big Town flagpole, Brum saves the day by performing a daredevil high-wire routine.

Pickpocket Polly and Magic Paul, the street performer, take advantage of the rich pickings in the crowd of onlookers. The baddies make their getaway with a bag full of swag. Brum saves the day by catapulting the baddies into the Big Town Fountain, keeping the crowd spellbound.

Episode 33 - Brum and The Runaway Train

The Visiting Man is keen to help the festivities along at a children's party, but instead of filling a balloon with helium he accidentally uses cream. The bulging balloon bounces through the Big Town with Brum in pursuit, and he saves the day by squashing the balloon into a drain, where it bursts safely.

A baddie steals the Visiting Man's stopwatch. With Brum hot on her heels, she races through the sports centre. Brum saves the day by sending the baddie into a spin and retrieving the precious watch.

Granny Slippers hurtles out of control through the Big Town on Max Speed's stunt bike, towards a towering stunt ramp. Brum saves the day by diverting the runaway bike from a death-defying leap into a pile of soft straw bales.

The Corporation Men are adding some ornamental stone balls to the Big Town Square. One of the balls shoots off the back of their van and thunders through the Big Town. Brum saves the day by heroically catching the ball and returning it safely to the Town Square.

Nick and Rob steal Mr Brillo's prize gnome to sell on their market stall. Brum saves the day by tracking down the baddies and sending them tumbling.

Episode 28 - Brum and The Soccer Hero

When an abandoned sofa rolls away from the Corporation men, it causes mayhem. Brum races after the speeding sofa, which comes to rest close to the edge of the Big Town dump. Brum nudges the sofa back from the brink.

Episode 26 - Brum and The Basketball Star
First Aired: May. 27,2002

It is the wheelchair basketball final in the Big Town. The Big Town team are losing by 6 points to 2 with only minutes to go, due to unfair play by the opposition. Brum saves the day by teaming up with a keen fan and scoring the winning goal.

When a baddie attempts to steal a beautiful dress from a Big Town shop window, she runs into trouble. Unable to remove it from the display, she's forced to take the mannequin as well. Brum saves the day by retrieving the dress and mannequin for the shopkeeper.
