Come Dine with Me Ireland (2011)
Come Dine with Me is an Irish television programme, first broadcast on TV3 on 6 June 2011. The show has five amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party for the other contestants. Each competitor then rates the host's performance with the winner winning a €1,000 cash prize. It is based on the British format Come Dine with Me, which airs globally on various television networks. Between January 2011 to June 2011 TV3 broadcast the UK version at 18:30 each week night. Like the UK version, the Irish version includes an element of comedy through comedian Dave Lamb, who provides a dry and "bitingly sarcastic" narration. A second series of the show, including two celebrity specials, aired as part of TV3's autumn schedule.

Sligo Day 1: Glamorous Trish Buckley hosts the first of a week of dinner parties in Sligo, and hopes to impress her guests - mature student Monica Cogan, surf instructor Dimitar Dosev, shop assistant Maria Tesler and student Aoife McGowan - with a menu of MasterChef-style dishes and a Hollywood theme.
Sligo Day 3: Mature student Monica Cogan presents the third party in Sligo and invites her guests to play swingball, bringing out their competitive sides. Diners Maria and Trisha seem less than impressed with the evening's menu, while Aoife is even more disgusted when the host reveals a nasty habit
Sligo Day 4 Aoife McGowan hosts the fourth party in Sligo, putting on a glamour puss-themed evening for her guests, but Dimitar Dosev's outfit raises a few eyebrows. Plus, mixed reviews of the food and a frosty atmosphere threaten her chances of winning the 1,000-euro prize.
Sligo Day 5 Surfer Dimitar Dosev hosts the final evening in Sligo, and hopes a beach party theme and a menu comprising barbecued lobster will impress his guests and bag him the 1,000-euro prize.
