The Man himself is a Yugoslavian television miniseries produced by TV Zagreb and shown in 1970. It is an adaptation of Ivo Kozarćanin's novel of the same name and consists of four episodes. The protagonist is a young official named Valentin, and the plot shows his childhood, growing up and a disastrous marriage that will end in murder. It was directed by Eduard Galić.
