After the summer vacation, Sam is in for a big surprise: Klavdija is still part of the teachers' union, and tension immediately arises between them. He is just trying to hide that he spent the summer in America, but Klavdija also has her secrets. As a result of the fire at Tivoli Primary and Secondary School, Tretja Gymnasium gained quite a few new pupils, students and professors. Among the new students is Niko, who is on parole, and when tablets disappear from the school's storage, things quickly get complicated.

Sam's student Anja is a professional athlete who lives for marathon running. The headmaster warns Klavdija that her student Lev is slacking off and is missing a lot in the class.
