Reinaldo's life is shaken when his wife is shot and goes into a vegetative state. Faced with a very high hospital bill and with no prospect of seeing his wife improve, Reinaldo opts for euthanasia. However, unexpectedly, she wakes up. Pastor Samuel believes that Reinaldo has performed a miracle, so he offers him money to preach to his congregation.

Reinaldo expects to return to his normal life, but the church and its parishioners aren’t done with Pastor Rei. Now, Paulo, a member of the church and the hospital nurse who filmed the "miracle", wants Reinaldo’s help to bring his mother, who is in a vegetative state, back to life.
