In Hampton Roads, Virginia, during day one of the auditions, the singers belt out their best before Bishop Ezekiel Williams and the gospel leaders.
Tears fall as the praises go up on day two when the judges and guest Pharrell look for one-of-a-kind vocalists who can bring the energy and emotion.
After a third round of sweet surprises, the judges select 25 sopranos, 25 altos and 25 tenors and then scour venues for the choir’s debut performance.
