May the Best House Win is a British lifestyle game show, which currently airs on ITV. The show is produced by Shiver and narrated by Guy Porritt. The programme began airing on 22 February 2010 and sees four proud homeowners compete to win £1,000 by showing off their homes to the other contestants, who will then rate their home based on their interior design, homeliness, comfort, and hospitality.

Featuring the 1930s house of Janey Semp, the 19th-century home of artist Sasha Beaumont, Les Riley's Spanish-style villa, and set designer Nick Franklin's property, which shows off his love of all things Willy Wonka.
Four homeowners in the south-west Midlands invite one another to rate their properties, with a £1,000 prize awarded to the winner. Under scrutiny are a converted malthouse, a 200-year-old cottage, a 1930s semi-detached property with a special garden shed and an impressive Dallas-style new build. Narrated by Guy Porritt.
Four homeowners in and around Hull invite one another to rate their properties, with a £1,000 prize awarded to the winner. Buildings include newsagent John Stead's 1930s terraced house, consultant Sue Barton's Grade II-listed converted vicarage, fire officer Jo Peart's detached home, and customer adviser Lisa Horner's bungalow. Narrated by Guy Porritt.
Four proud homeowners open their doors in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire in the hope of winning the £1,000 cash prize. Featuring the traditional English Georgian farmhouse of beauty salon owner Rebecca Clark, PA Jenny Howard's neo-Georgian town house, beautician Laura Prats' modern chalet-style bungalow, and a 1950s semi, complete with an annexe, owned by Christina Christian.

The competition heads to South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, where glamorous gran Liz Treece, model-agency owner Jo Webster, renewable energy fanatic Mark Woodward and singleton Nigel Fox score one another's properties. They open their doors to a modern detached home, a renovated chapel, a converted barn and farmhouse, and a bachelor pad, in the hope of winning the £1,000 prize.
The competition heads to Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, where clutter-hating homeowner Janice Bryant, retiree Pauline Owen, mobile-casino owner David Smith and puppeteer Paul Garufalo score one another's properties. They open their doors to a detached house, a 1960s bungalow, a home described as a `money pit' and a Swedish-style lodge, in the hope of winning the £1,000 prize.
Four homeowners on the North Yorkshire coast rate one another's properties, hoping to win the £1,000 prize. Under inspection are Mary Fox's house containing her own handmade chandeliers, Stephen McEvoy's semi-detached home with an Indonesian bed, Pamela Line's French-themed terrace with restored furniture, and Simon McCabe's 19th-century dwelling, complete with hot tub. Four homeowners in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk rate one another's houses in a bid to win £1,000. The homes under inspection are Claire Avenal's heart-filled terraced property in Newmarket, Katie Lancashire's modern detached house, landlord David Utting's pub and Aletta Wilson's spacious abode, converted from a former Salvation Army church hall.
The competition heads to Greater Manchester, where mother Maria Crampton, businessman Ray Ronan, recruitment consultant Gemma Jones and domestic service provider Tania Wright score one another's properties. They open their doors to a large family house, a bachelor pad, a spotless and serene home and a Victorian terrace in the hope of winning the £1,000 prize.
Four homeowners in Nottingham compete for the £1,000 prize. The tours begin at a modern new-build three-storey house, home to a jewellery designer, before heading to a lad's pad in the upstairs of a converted 1960s bungalow. The competitors then rate a red home, before the day ends at a gothic semi-detached property
Four homeowners in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire rate one another's properties, hoping to win the £1,000 prize. Under inspection is Julie D'Ray's modern detached house, clutter-lover Claire Newman's 1930s-style home, Pauline Tulloch's Victorian terrace and Irita Spitra's waterside cottage.
Four homeowners in Lancashire compete for the £1,000 prize. The tours include Debbie Boyle's Victorian home, Jane Chadwick's country chic-inspired property, Marjorie Allen's converted old bakery and Suzanne Clayton's manor house, complete with a croquet lawn. Narrated by Guy Porritt
