After Lately is an American television comedy. The series depicts, in mockumentary style, the behind the scenes goings-on at the office of the late-night talk show Chelsea Lately. The cast is made up of the actual writers and performers of Chelsea Lately, who play themselves as they suffer the indignities and relish the perks of show business, bicker and argue over trivial and petty matters, compete for show air time and personal approval from Chelsea, and produce a nightly late-night cable comedy show. Celebrity guest stars regularly appear, playing parody versions of themselves, interacting with Chelsea and the cast. The series began airing on E! on March 6, 2011.

Heather thinks Chelsea's love life needs some spice, and Chris suggests she date someone in the "Chelsea Lately" production crew. See if Chelsea will make a love connection with crew member Andy. Plus, the staff is pranked by an unexpected masseur. Meanwhile, Brad forgets his employee badge at home--and the security guard at the Universal Studios won't let him on the lot without it, so he spends the day trying to sneak past the guard.
Chelsea asks Jiffy to work on a project ghost writing a book for her new dog, Jack. Ben Gleib comes to the conclusion that Chelsea wants to have sex with Jiffy, despite she knowing that Jiffy is married. Meanwhile, Sarah and Brad notice that one of the staff accountants has a disabled parking pass but doesn't seem to be disabled.
The writing staff is excited by the news that Ross will once again be hosting the show tomorrow. Chelsea does whatever she can to make her staff like her as much as they seem to like Ross. Brad and Jiffy, notice that Chelsea's dog Jackie seems to be going down on Heather. Chuy seems to be on a self-empowerment movement. He mentions that he is because of his friend "Melissa".
Sarah goes on a date with T.J. Miller, who gets physical. Chelsea offers the staff a writers retreat in Cabo, which conflicts with Heather's schedule. She bumps the other event, but comes to regret it.
Chelsea comes face-to-face with the Kardashians; Sarah and Jen get into a fight; the gang avoids the voice over guy, Mike Rock.
