Most of the disasters could be prevented in advance with little attention. However, some companies or public organizations tend not to prepare for potential accidents because of the high cost. That’s how industrial accidents take place. Doctor Detective is a drama where medical doctors treat the patients suffering from industrial accidents and look into the truth behind the accidents. The story of the drama starts when Joong Eun, who is an enormously talented medical doctor, gets to join an undiagnosed disease center(UDC) in the middle of experiencing difficulties in her personal life. And she starts to look into her patients' diseases caused by industrial accidents and work on revealing the truth concealed by those with power.

Min Ki goes to the hospital room. He meets Hye Mi and breaks into tears. Joong Eun also pays a visit.
The chairman shows Joong Eun a threatening letter he recently received. Tae Yong gives compelling advice.
UDC starts to dig into the letter threat. They presume that it was from a victim of a TL Group accident.
Yong Deok is found dead. The UDC investigates about it. They first look into his past.
Mr. Ko tells the truth about Yong Deok's past. The two apparenly suffered from the industrial accident.
Yong Deok is left to rest with his daughter. Like her father, she was also a victim of TL's recklessness.
UDC receives an anonymous call. There's a respiratory disease occurring at the TL Medical Center.
Min says that the hospital will cooperate with the UDC on the investigation. Joong Eun checks on Do Yoon.
UDC loses its authority to investigate the disinfectant case. The Ministry of Health gets involved.
Joong Eun and the UDC figure out how to go about the humidifier disinfectant case. Tae Young helps out.
