The production of Black Panther 2 was officially put on the planning. According to some media reports, Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther officially signed a contract with Marvel. That means he will continue to be the director and screenwriter of Black Panther 2.


The film is expected to start shooting in the end of 2019 or early 2020. Marvel and Disney have not officially announced any plans for the film after The Avengers 4 (released in May 2019) and Spider-Man 2 (released in July 2019). Therefore, the schedule may be changed.


Black Panther's global box office is 1.35 billion dollars, North American box office 700 million, it had been top 3 in the North American box office, top 9 in the world and almost become a cultural trend. At present, the film is trying its best for the public awards season, trying to gain some success at the Oscar next year.


The main actors of Black Panther 2 has not officially announce, starring Chadwick Boseman could be returned.
