Feeling sorry for the child and hesitant to turn them in, as they were on their way to leave the child with his grandfather. Shinmi, who took in Seiichi, sought refuge with "Iwai Kiyosuke," a master of the martial art of "Kito-ryu," but Seiichi's grandfather, Kiyosuke Iwai, having disowned his son, refused to forgive him and coldly turned them away, claiming not to know his grandson.
