Haunted by the death of her husband, a woman travels to another town and finds a soul mate. Haunted by the death of her husband in a car accident, a woman finds herself unable to function, unable to cope with life and incapable of even looking after her child, Lucas. She leaves the boy with a friend and goes to the river with the intention of drowning herself, but instead of finding oblivion reawakens in a strange place – a Toulouse that seems to be inhabited exclusively by men.
