Homes Under the Hammer
2003 / TV-GSeasons & Episode
Is it a stairway to heaven? Not quite, it’s a spiral staircase in duplex flat in Southsea, Hampshire that Jacqui’s come to see. Martin is in the sought after town of Cheltenham, and Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire where his colourful shirt makes up for the lack of colour in a two bed flat.
A plot of land in Derby has Dion excited. Tommy is in Suffolk at a project with a challenging plastering job, and Jacqui meets a retired butcher trying his hand at property development.
A house beside a railway has Tommy recommending good double glazing in Orpington, south east London. Dion is in Greater Manchester, where the sandwich bill is racking up for the new owner. In a Lancashire semi, Martel meets a former hairdresser who is undertaking a labour of love.
Where else but London?! A one-bedroom flat has a potential value of one million pounds if renovated properly. Martel is assessing 25 acres of land in Anglesey. Martin is in Bristol where he disagrees with the new owner about his plans for the layout.
A house in Hampshire has Martin’s nose out of joint, as an overwhelming odour is making life difficult. Martel is in Aberdeenshire, where a bungalow in a rural setting is a fantastic development opportunity. We revisit a plot of land in Nottingham that Tommy first saw back in early 2022.
Dion tackles overgrown ivy that is invading an end-of-terrace house in north Wales. He also deals with damp in a Stoke bungalow. Martel is in Nottinghamshire, where former retail premises are not currently fit for purpose.
A riverside period house alongside a riverside path in historic Canterbury is modernised for a family, and a grandfather transforms a flat in Brighton to be nearer to his grandchildren. Work also gets under way to transform a house in need of TLC in Ashton-under-Lyne.
